Run your Android phone’s GUI from your desktop

Hook your Android phone up to your desktop via USB cable, launch an open-source JNLP app and you've got your Android's GUI, live on your desktop! The post over at XDA-Developers is http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=557717 and the project itself is http://code.google.com/p/androidscreencast/ and did I say it's free? And it's open source.
